We cannot stress enough the importance of seeing the videographer's work as styles and standards (unfortunately!) do vary considerably.
Glossy brochures, flashy websites and impressive-sounding text may turn out to be much more attractive than the video itself!!

A series of highlights can also look very captivating but again, it leaves you with absolutely no idea of what the actual wedding video will look like.

We would recommend that you.....

  • Check how established the company is
  • Ask how experienced the videographer is and that the work you have seen is that of 'your' videographer as some companies contract out.
  • Consider how the DVD will stand the test of time i.e. the style, the music etc.
  • Don't base your choice entirely on cost alone. You will probably have a budget in mind but try to remain as flexible as possible - you could waste all your money on a cheap video that isn't worth watching, whereas if you spend that little bit more the results could be priceless. Also, the most expensive may not necessarily be the best or have a 'style' that you like.
